Transportation Asset Management Planning - Round 2

Multimodal Plan Highway Investment Plan

Expanding and improving asset management planning.

In 2014, MnDOT completed initial asset management planning for a number of roadway-related assets, including pavement, bridges, overhead sign structures, high mast tower lighting and deep stormwater tunnels. In the Statewide Multimodal Transportation Plan and the Minnesota State Highway Investment Plan, we committed to expanding asset management planning to more of our assets.

Over the last year, asset management planning was completed for several additional assets - pedestrian infrastructure, buildings, noise walls, signals, lighting and intelligent transportation systems infrastructure. In 2018, we will be working to bring all this planning work into one Transportation Asset Management Plan.
