MnDOT Road Design Manual Update

Updating MnDOT technical guidance to incorporate new practices and policy direction.

In the Statewide Multimodal Transportation Plan, MnDOT committed to updating technical guidance to incorporate new practices and policy direction. In July 2018, we officially launched a process to update the agency’s Road Design Manual. The update will incorporate existing technical memos and consider additional policy guidance, with a goal of completion by the end of calendar year 2020.
