2019-2028 10-Year Capital Highway Investment Plan

Strengthening Minnesota’s roads and bridges through thoughtful and strategic planning.

The Capital Highway Investment Plan communicates programmed and planned state highway network projects for the next 10 years (2019-2028). The plan was established to promote outreach and increase awareness for projects beyond four years. The CHIP is updated annually—removing projects currently being constructed, adjusting project timelines, and adding new projects. Updating the CHIP helps MnDOT track its progress towards established investment levels, performance outcomes, and explains any changes to investment direction.
